Would you like to join a community of singers who follow the values shared across SHEP? Would you like to have some fun in the company of others with a shared love of singing ?
Then please do join us for our Autumn 2026 – Summer 2027 choir sessions.
SHEP community choir is open to new members for our 30 Sessions for Autumn 2026 – Summer 2027 . No auditions. Just bring your voice and enjoy. We sing non-competitively. We follow natural voice principles. Pat Sheehan Corbett, our fantastic choir leader continues to inspire us, creating beautiful music with our voices.
It has been proven that singing supports our physical and emotional health and well-being , creates community and connection and can even impact on social and climate injustice; through social inclusion and intercultural awareness to activism: ‘Sing for Water’ is one example of a campaign we supported prior to the pandemic. We hope to do more.
We sing in St. Michael’s Parish Hall in Blackrock, Cork (T12 F8R9) on Thursday evenings from 7pm to 9pm. Please click below for more information or contact jess.bowen@socialandhealth.com for an application form or if you have any questions. Singing together has so many benefits.
Go on . Give it a try .
